Please note the following
- The above calculations have been worked out for a person whose is getting a basic of Rs 8000 when he / she joins the PG Course. However most of us would have been got 1 to 3 increments when we join PG.
- There are many who are doing PG with 6 to 10 increments. The monetary Loss will be substantially Higher for such People
- Also the calculations are done with a DA of 24 %. When the DA increases the loss will be much higher
Why This Loss
- There is very meagre increase in basic as far as the Sixth Pay Commission Recommendations are concerned. The bulk of the increase is through allowances. Hence In Service Post Graduates are loosing lakhs of rupees if the allowances are not given
- When others are all getting money, service Post Graduates are loosing :(
- In the olden days, the bulk of the salary was through Basic + DA. Allowances constituted very meagre amount (around 500)
- So our seniors did not mind much about getting allowance during PG Period
If Our Seniors Ignored Allowances and Increments, Why should I be concerned about it
- You are loosing 2 lakhs to 3 laksh. In case you are going to do DM MCh again, the loss will be even higher. You decide whether you can be concerned about you loosing 6 lakhs are not
- Those who are undergoing Post Graduation
- Those who plan to undergo Post Graduation in the next few years
How to proceed
- Let us Unite. Unity is Strength. Enrol all Service PGs in the association
- Represent to DME through an association
- Represent to Government through association

good attempt if carried forward
we also should ensure that our GPF subscriptions are deducted and maintained as like for any other assistant surgeon.
Sir... it is very good attempt .. But don't believe TNGDA for our demands..We know very well about them (during our strike & CRRI/Non service PG Stipend issue)
we will be very happy if you get this demand done.we should urge our tngda collagues when they come for vote in the nearby election.
